- Artic Monkeys bassist, Andy Nicholson, has decided to leave the band for good. After touring North American without him, he decided to leave and stand-in bassist, Nick O'Malley, will now be a permanent member
- The BBC has decided to cancel their imfamous show "Top of the Pops" after 42 years of being on air. Apparently the rating had been falling for years now with other shows to compete against, so they just decided to take it off the air
- Pearl Jam plan on holding a benefit show in Portland, Oregon for the Northwest Chapter of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA).
