He's being sued for $3.8 Million U.S. for loans and expenses, unpaid salary for work on a charity record and his share of the proceeds from two television specials by F. Marc Schaffel
• Audioslave turn to funk, R&B and soul for upcoming record to release on September 5 (mark your calendars). Find the song list and full story here.
• Like Dance music? Well, it looks like the Dance Music Festival is coming to town from July 1-5. They're expecting around 100,000 people to attend.
• Pete Doherty publishes journals and will hit book shelves mid next year. From 1999 to present, we'll get to read all about his life, woo hoo.
• Richard Ashcroft was arrested for disorderly conduct Monday. He allegedly burst into a U.K. youth club and demanded to help troubled youth. He refused to leave but maybe he just wanted to help them...?
• Age restrictions hit MySpace. They're going to make it so that anyone under 18 years or older won't be able to befriend 14 or 15 years. People can still lie though, it's the internet.
• Academy award-winner Jamie Foxx is at the top of the Billboard R&b/Hip-Hop Awards list of finalists. We all know and love him for collaborating with Kanye West on his hit "Goldigger."
• Australian superstar Kylie Minogue is getting back on the road in November. She took a break from her Showgirl tour after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
• Beach Boys fans, mark your calendars: they will release a 40th Anniversary Edition of "Pet Sounds" on August 29
